Judi grew up in Shady Side, Md. and studied at Maryland Institute of Art. She worked as and Interior Designer A.S.I.D. for twenty five years. She had her
own business in Coral Gables, Fl. Judi retired to the Florida Keys to pursue her love of watercolors. Judi studied with Susan Clarke, Maggie McMullen, Millard Wells, Janet Rodgers, Lian Quan Zhen, Jean Brenton Jaecks and others. Judi also studied under Ann Munroe-Wood in Lake Como, Italy.
Judi is a member of the Purple Isle Guild in the Florida Keys and the Martin County Art Assoc. in Stuart, Florida.
Her capture of light and contrast is specially noted in her work. Judi enjoys watercolor because of the fresh, crisp technique you can only get from watercolor.
